( open ) there ain't no party like a mafia party
⌛ Who: Those Thai mafia guys, adjacent CR, and anyone who just wants to crash a good time
⌛ What: Celebrating an elopement, Tay's survival of all that chaos in the Western Kingdom, and other things
⌛ When: Early November
⌛ Where: J. Random Bar or two or three
⌛ Warnings: will be added in threads as needed
Tay said drinks were on him when all that madness in the Western Kingdom was over. Vegas wasn't about to forget that. There was a lot to celebrate, after all! Vegas and Pete eloped, Tay survived, they were all reunited, they had some solid plans for the future. They may not be able to find a club in the way Tay would like, but if the night turned into a bar crawl, would any of them complain? Wherever they landed, Vegas was sure to be buying the most expensive drinks on the menu since he's not paying.
The place had music -- nothing like they're used to, but at least it had music. Which would make for an interesting night as the longer they're out and the more champagne Vegas drinks, the more likely he is to try to drag the others into dancing (especially Pete). It may not be what they're used to, but they can still have a good time, right?

Tonight, Tay is dressed in a pretty white lacy top and black pants that have been properly altered thanks to Gaura for his tail. The white gold jewelry he's wearing is all new with a little diamond stud and delicate chain in his black cat ear.
While he's a bit disappointed they couldn't come up with a dance club, the drinks, company, and fun makes him forget about it. It takes no effort for Vegas to convince him to get up and dance- maybe even drag someone along with him!
[Later]
By the time they're at their second or third bar, Tay is happily drunk and dancing with his friends and total strangers alike.

"Aren't you a sweetheart!" Tay chirps happily when his friend seems to materialize out of nowhere with a gift drink. Without thinking or warning, he hooks his arm around Vegas' shoulders and presses a quick (and obviously drunk) kiss on his cheek. "Where's Pete? We should tell him what a sweetheart you are!"

So he came over to Tay with a smile on his face, taking note of the ears and tail. But he wasn't here to make fun of them. Quite the opposite honestly.
"You know, those new features of yours really suit you."

When Pete comes up and compliments him, Tay somehow brightens even further. "You think so?" He asks, glancing down at his tail. It was still something to get used to, but it was growing on him. He poses playfully. "A bit like a furry's wet dream, don't you think?"

He still nursed his drink, the only one he would have at this bar, just as he only had one drink at the first one.

However, one thing- one person- was missing! Stepping away from the stranger he'd been dancing with, he walks over and holds his hand out to Kinn. "Okay, that's enough! It's time to get your ass up and dance!"

Pete was more than happy to dance to whatever music was there and to consume far too much alcohol in the process. But it was a party and he should be having fun, right? Especially when he was one of the reasons that they were having the party! Sure he wasn't used to all the attention but a little bit couldn't hurt!
Just don't mind that Vegas was constantly near him. Or on top of him. Or with hands in his clothes. It was right where Pete wanted him to be. But one could still manage to catch him alone sometimes if they wanted a private chat!
no subject
And yes, he was basically attached to Pete wherever they went. It started simply, an arm around his waist or shoulders. But as the night and the alcohol progressed, Vegas got much more handsy. His hands made their way to Pete's ass while they danced and Vegas shamelessly shoved them in the opening of Pete's yukata. Kisses? Stolen. More than that, he found himself nibbling on Pete's ear and the side of his throat, completely without care that they were still in public.

"This is fun," he commented with a big of a giggle as he turned around in Vegas' arms so he could press a kiss to his lips. Wrapping his arms around his neck, he grinned up at him, eyes clearing saying he was pretty drunk by now.
"You look really hot," he noted for about the millionth time that night.

"Let me get those for you," he offered. It was the least he could do since he didn't know the couple well enough to get them any sort of gift. "And congratulations on your marriage!"

He'd never been invited to parties before his place. Now he'd been to a couple of them. It was a lot of fun and even though he was wall flowering at the moment he was honestly truly enjoying himself. It was nice to see everyone having so much fun together. He couldn't help how warm it made his heart feel as he saw them all dancing and talking together. Sure it was challenging to tell who was who but that simply didn't matter right now.
He was happy.

"You have wings!" He was surprised, delighted, and so curious about them!
no subject
"I do. They're the real reason why we're a little late. I had to tailor the clothes to make room for them. Do you like them?" He was fond of them himself because they were a sign of his relationships. But more than that they were in his favorite color.

One thing that was important to note was that, despite the fact that they were at a bar, Riley was not allowed alcohol. No matter who it was there was apparently a rule that had been spread around before his arrival that he was not to have a drop of it. So instead he was handed sodas and juice all night. Something that made him happy anyway since they were sweet.
He was nursing another soda and humming to the song that was playing. Someone had given him candy and he was gladly snacking on that as he bounced to the music. But whoever came over to him was sure to get a smile and a wave from him. Because, yes, he was just as bubbly and sweet even when he was sober.

Vegas smiled and nodded from across the room, sauntering over in time with whatever music was playing. It certainly wasn't what he was used to, but it was upbeat enough to get people moving.
"Good to see you, cousin. Having fun?"
no subject
After sobering up he'd quickly realized that he'd befriended the guy he'd told Kinn that he was going to avoid due to him being dangerous. Well, it was too late for that, right? Riley was now friends with Vegas and they'd decided they were family. So time to live with the consequences!
And honestly the consequences were pretty great. He'd had so many sweet drinks and Vegas clearly had his back by making sure he didn't get alcohol. Riley could get behind that!
"I'm sad I missed the wedding!"

Of course, whether or not he seemed approachable remained to be seen. He wasn't really going out of his way to schmooze, instead letting Vegas and Pete have the stage light, as it was their right, after all.

Incoming dance-napping from Pete and Vegas!
"No more wall time. This is a fun song," Pete declared as he grabbed hold of one arm, waiting for Vegas to snag the other so they could drag him to the dance floor.
