Tay said drinks were on him when all that madness in the Western Kingdom was over. Vegas wasn't about to forget that. There was a lot to celebrate, after all! Vegas and Pete eloped, Tay survived, they were all reunited, they had some solid plans for the future. They may not be able to find a club in the way Tay would like, but if the night turned into a bar crawl, would any of them complain? Wherever they landed, Vegas was sure to be buying the most expensive drinks on the menu since he's not paying.

The place had music -- nothing like they're used to, but at least it had music. Which would make for an interesting night as the longer they're out and the more champagne Vegas drinks, the more likely he is to try to drag the others into dancing (especially Pete). It may not be what they're used to, but they can still have a good time, right?

Riley burst out laughing and then leaned over to give Vegas a nice friendly kiss on the cheek. He always was an affectionate person, even with very innocent things like that. "Thanks. Whoever I end up with will be grateful for your generosity to us."

"Hey, whoa! Careful now! I'm a married man," he informed, in case Riley had forgotten.

He laughed and poked Vegas' nose. "I know you are. I won't ever try to steal you. But family should get cheek kisses because I love them too."

Vegas blinked at the poke, his eyes bleary and a little watery. "Okay. Just as long as it's 'cause we're family."

"Of course! Here's the thing about the Fae. We can't lie. So I say that it's because we're family you can know I mean it." Riley gently patted his hand and smiled at him. "We're cousins."

He's totally wibbling. Then he pulled Riley into a loose hug. "You're my favorite cousin!"

Riley laughed softly and made sure to hug him back. Vegas was so drunk but it was adorable. "We'll have to make sure Kinn doesn't find out."

"Kinn knows he's not my favorite." If he had to pick one, it would probably be Kim because he's a little psycho too.

"He'll probably figure it out anyway. I'm adorable." After all, he knew that for a fact even if he wasn't bragging or trying very hard to be.

"It's true," he quipped. "Kim used to be my favorite 'cause he's crazy like me."

"Really? So he'd be more likely to be into the scary stuff you like?" That was pretty scary. Woooow. But kind of cool too if he was being real with himself.

They could've been a pretty wicked team, between Kimhan's scheming and Vegas' lack of morals. He wondered if Kim would ever have the stomach to do some of the things Vegas has done to other people. Maybe he had a moral compass of some sort, but they didn't know each other well enough for Vegas to get a feel for it.

"He's clever and ruthless."

"Scary."

But he totally admired that. Honestly he didn't mind all that stuff and only truly feared it with the Fae because they were actively using it to try to control his life. The mafia that he'd become family with? They didn't have that quality to them and it made it easy for him to trust them.

After all, he didn't know what he was fully capable of either.

Controlling, at least outwardly, has never been Vegas' style. He knew a little too much about how it felt to have someone trying to control what you do and who you are. But he was a little too drunk to dwell on all that.

Vegas just nodded in agreement. "People know better than to mess with Kim."

"Well I don't plan to do that. I'd rather just be his family."

Because apparently collecting scary people and making them his family was just how he did things now. Which he honestly couldn't complain about. It was kind of funny to think that he had this big scary family and they had actually let him in and he got know just how terrifying they were.

Vegas lifted a hand, pointing at nothing specific. "He used to be my favorite cousin. Before I met you."

"Am I cuter? Even if I'm probably not at all the same level of psycho?" Because Riley was perfectly self aware. Psycho was just not part of his personality profile and he doubted it ever would be.

Vegas laughed and reached up to boop Riley's nose. He missed the first time, but finally got it. "Much cuter!"

Riley had to dodge the first one just to make sure there wasn't an accidental eye poke. But the second one got a laugh from him. "Great! I'll remember that. If he comes I get to be cuter and more loved by you!"

"Mmhmm~" he hummed with a couple of nods.

Vegas was so cute drunk. He couldn't get over it. Oh but wait there was something that he could totally make happen here. Because someone at this party needed to actually party. "Heeeeey. What if you go help a certain someone to dance for a bit?"

He was totally pointing right at Kinn. "Maybe you could get someone to help you too!"

He was hoping that someone was Pete because he'd love to see them both forcing Kinn to have fun.

He followed where Riley's finger pointed and gasped to see Kinn standing against the wall. Then a slow smile spread over his lip and he nodded. Glancing over to Pete, he patted Riley's shoulder and then toddled off to go execute the mission.
