Tay said drinks were on him when all that madness in the Western Kingdom was over. Vegas wasn't about to forget that. There was a lot to celebrate, after all! Vegas and Pete eloped, Tay survived, they were all reunited, they had some solid plans for the future. They may not be able to find a club in the way Tay would like, but if the night turned into a bar crawl, would any of them complain? Wherever they landed, Vegas was sure to be buying the most expensive drinks on the menu since he's not paying.

The place had music -- nothing like they're used to, but at least it had music. Which would make for an interesting night as the longer they're out and the more champagne Vegas drinks, the more likely he is to try to drag the others into dancing (especially Pete). It may not be what they're used to, but they can still have a good time, right?

That brought a giggle to his lips and his wings ruffled in delight behind him. Reaching up, he fixed a curl so it would lay better around one of those ears. Keep it from sticking straight up.

"Please do. I adore them."

"Very well," he acquiesced with a playful sigh. "For your sake." A smile tugged his lips. "And how are you liking your wings?"

"They're taking some getting used to and I'm a little worried about needing to have holes in the back of my shirts and jackets as it gets colder. But I'm adjusting to them." He glanced back at them. "I like...that it'll be another way for me to able to tell who is me in the reflection."

Henry dared to brush his fingers over the feathers of one wing and he sighed softly. "They suit you so well," he murmured.

He could feel the shift of his feather which was a strange sensation. Was he going to have to sleep differently now? He wasn't sure and it didn't matter really. Smiling, Gaura gazed at his fiance. "I'll definitely need your help to keep them looking nice."

They would figure out the sleeping. Henry turned his gaze from the wings to his fiance's face with an eager smile.

"I'll learn everything I can about caring for birds."

"I couldn't be in better hands."

Gently, he cupped his face. As tempting as it was to kiss him now he resisted and just settled for this. "I love you."

Henry's expression softened and he tilted his head into one of Gaura's hands. "I love you so much." Maybe someday a party like this will be for them. It was a nice thought, a gathering of all their friends to celebrate their marriage.

"Let's go get some drinks together. They seem fun and it would be a shame to not join in more, don't you think?" Gaura slowly lowered his hands so one of them could take Henry's. "Since I got here late maybe you can recommend me something."

His fingers curled around Gaura's and he gave him a helpless smile. "I'm not terribly familiar with some of the more color concoctions I've seen served. I'm more of a beer fellow."

That actually made him giggle and he gave his hand a squeeze. "Then I want a beer to drink with you."

He was not going to even try to pretend that wouldn't drink bear. He was not picky about alcohol.

"Alright," he agreed with a giddy note to his voice. He grinned as he took Gaura's hand and led them over to the bar. He ordered them two beers and then settled in a seat so they could talk more while they drank. "Do you have a favorite drink, Gaura?"

"You mean an alcoholic one?" Since they were drinking right now. Humming, he thought about that a bit, tilting his head thoughtfully. "The Spicy Paloma I think. It's a cocktail."

"What's in it?" Maybe he could recognize some of the ingredients and get an idea what it might taste like.

[pinkblinded]

"Tequila, grapefruit juice, jalapeño simple syrup, grapefruit soda water, lime, and jalapeño with sugar and sea salt as the garnish." Which meant it was sweet, tart, and spicy.

Oh, he shivered at the description! "That sounds far too hot for my English blood."

He giggled softly and nodded. "It would be. It's very spicy."

"Is that the drink you had that made my lips tingle?"

Gaura giggled a little bit at the memory and nodded. "It was. I'm sorry for surprising you with it then."

"I forgive you," he teased. As if there was any question about that! "I didn't know they could make a drink so hot." He meant spicy, but he's sure Gaura would understand.
