[Closed to Four Seasons Manor residents + Ye Baiyi]
⌛ Who: Ye Baiyi and residents of the Four Seasons Manor
⌛ What: Missing arachnida (scorpion)
⌛ When: August 30
⌛ Where: Four Seasons Manor
⌛ Warnings:
He'd woken up to a strange but minor pain he couldn't identify. It lingers and he's not used to feeling something like this, but there are more important things to deal with. Namely, he can't find Xie Wang. It was odd given how the young man had been as glued to his side as a loyal hound the last week or so. It was also annoying, since that meant no breakfast. Fortunately, he knew where he could go that also had good food.
Like he has since he arrived, he shows up at the Four Seasons Manor and walks through the door like he owns the place. "Zhou Zishu? Brat?" He calls, making his way to the kitchen.

"Where are the others?"
no subject
"Because you helped A-Xu," he said gruffly as if that explained his momentary kindness.
no subject
"This is where that idiot girl of yours gets her disrespect from."

Seeing the man come in, he lifted a scaled brow as he watched him come in. Someone thought he was very important it seemed...
no subject
"Who- what are you?" He asks, stepping closer. "Why are you here in Zhou Zishu's home?"
no subject
Runyu smiled and then faced the man more. His dog hid behind his ankles due to being shy but he didn't try to make her come out. Instead he just offered a polite bow. "I am Runyu. The Four Seasons Manor is my home here."
no subject
"How many people did that little brat invite here?" He mutters to himself grumpily, casting a judgmental gaze in a vague direction of where Zishu might be. He sighs and returns his attention to the dragon.
"I'm Ye Baiyi." If he should bow in response, he misses the cue (or ignores it). "What did you do to convince that fool to let you stay here?" He doesn't know this dragon and the man is way too close to his.. whatever they are.
no subject
The fact that he had been in quite the miserable place then... Well that was another story. It was almost a year ago now at this point really. Besides, it didn't change the fact at all that Zishu had offered without Runyu doing anything to convince him to do so.
no subject
"What relationship do you have with him?" He asks, though some of that initial bark has calmed.

"Do you have cause for moving through here so bruskly?"
no subject
Why had Zhou Zishu taken in so many strays? With so many here, he's more glad to have gotten a house elsewhere. Though that just reminds him of the metaphorical thorn.
no subject
Wen Kexing had become a friend of his. For some reason. He truly did not fully understand all of it but none of that mattered in the long run. What did matter was that he was now protective of him as a result and he did not know this man who dared to storm onto this property.
no subject
Though, that was due to his injuries that he doesn't have here. It's a relief, at least.
"Now are you going to answer my question or stand there wasting more of my time?"
no subject
His expression hadn't changed even a little bit. One would almost thing he was more a moving statue than a living and breathing being. But he paid that no mind as he stared at the other man. "What is your business with the masters here?"
no subject
"I met a dog earlier who also lives here. It's no more your business what I'm here to discuss than it is hers." Although they may not want to let Wen Kexing near a dog. He's heard stories..

Have yet another resident of the Manor :3
"If he isn't already awake, he will be soon," Ouyang offered dryly.
Oh goodie! YBY is *thrilled*
"Who are you to speak to me like this?" He retorts. "I can wake Zhou Zishu however and whenever I wish."
no subject
So he bows.
"I am Ouyang, General of the Prince of Henan's armies." Though it means nothing here, falling back into old habits caused it to roll off his tongue as naturally as he breathed. It was a moment before he straightened, which would give Ye Baiyi a clear view of the elaborate braiding throughout the General's hair.
no subject
It's belated, but he appreciates the small man's manners either way. Some degree of his prickliness calms, though not nearly enough of it. He's just.. he's feeling worn and uncomfortable. The greeting he's received here has done little to make him feel well either.
"I'm Ye Baiyi," he answers, though he doesn't bow. His eyes stray to the braids and somehow they make his chest hurt even worse. "Who are you to Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing?"

"What's wrong?"
Even as she asks her cat ears swivel back a bit and her eyes stay on the man before her. If something wasn't wrong then she didn't know what was going on.

"I have news for your masters," he replies. However, after a brief pause, he relents. The little twit deserves to be informed as well. "Xie Wang is gone."
